well this is quite normal with people who have sensitive skin or people who are allergic to some ingredients. the best thing that you can do to prevent this problem is to keep your cloth strips strictly for your own use and when you wash them try to wash them lastly with dettol in the end so that will make them disinfected. also keep your wax only for your own use and after waxing apply any lotion that has zinc oxide in it, mostly all baby nappy rash creams have this ingredient, so you can use that too if you dont find any zinc oxide cream.
