Thanks Raveena for your kind comments. well you have dry hair problems, here I have very easy tips for you and I hope by following them you will get good results.
HAIR CARE GUIDE
First and the most important thing is to eat a well balanced diet. Eat iron rich fruits and vegs and please dont be afraid of drinking water as it keeps your body hydrated. Ok now chemicals also play a part in drying our hair so use them sensibly.
Shampoo with care
Dont wash your hair daily as the shampoo not only washes off dirt from your hair but also it takes away the esential oils from your hair. so try to shampoo your hair less often and also use a shampoo thats mild and is specifically for dry and damaged hair.
Use a conditioner
its very good to condition your hair as dry hair needs it badly. When hair becomes dry, the outer layers, called cuticles, peel off from the central shaft. Conditioners glue the cuticles back to the shaft, add lubricant to the hair, and prevent static electricity (which creates frizz). Pick a conditioner that works well for you and use it after every shampoo. A good and effective home conditioner is simple Mayonnaise, yes Mayonnaise makes an excellent conditioner. leave the oily white goo in your hair for anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour before washing it out.
Snip off those frayed ends
Trim your hair regulalry it will keep them healthy, Once every six weeks or so should keep those frayed ends under control.
Design your hair without heat
Please avoid using hair dryers and all electric stuff on your hair as it further damages them. Heat is what makes the desert a desert; it also contributes to dried-out hair. Two of the most intense sources of heat are curling irons and electric curlers.
Protect your hair from the elements
Wear a hat, both on breezy, balmy summer days, and gusty, frosty winter days.
Don't swim bare headed
Chlorine is one of the most destructive things to hair. So make a rubber cap part of your regular swim attire. For extra protection, first rub a little olive oil into your hair.
Vinegar
Vinegar is another great conditioner, It gives a crisp, healthy, shiny look, even to dry hair. Apply its an hour before washing your hair.
Consider a trip to the beauty parlor
A professional moisturizing treatment can work wonders for your dried-out head of hair. A real good steam treatment with oils and creams lasts about an hour, and afterward you can really tell the difference.
Egg For Falling Hair
Egg yolk is very good and applying it on your scalp for an hour, before washing your hair makes them strong and healthy.

Just to bring that shine in hair for all types :

Grind fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) to a paste and apply the leaf paste over the scalp before a bath.

Have a nice day !!!

I have a few questions, I hope you don't mind.

1. Shampoo with care. I don't just use my hands, but also my comb. Id that alright? My mum thinks it may be damaging.

2. You mentioned Mayonnaise, what does that exactly do? Why is it such a great conditioner?

3. Could you please explain to me about the vinegar too.

4. Is hair loss more likely to happen to those with dry hair?

- Yes while shapooing its said not to even use your nails on your sclap but gently rub with your fingers. Hair breal easily while they are wet. Its very harmful to comb your hair while shapooing, i find no reason for doing such a thing. it will break your hair and make them frizzier.
- Mayonnaise is used as a deep conditioner as it gives lot of shine and volume to your hair. the fat and oils present in it nourishes your hair and soothes the follicle. It will also smooth the hairshaft and boost volume.
- Vinegar is also great for bringing shine to your hair, it cleanses your hair scalp and helps you get away with dandruff.
- Obviously when you have dry hair you are prone to have hair loss more than people who have well nourished, moisturized hair. For dryness oiling hair is the best option.

you need to apply the vinegar 2-3 hours before shapooing your hair. take half cup vinegar and dab a cotton wool in it and then apply the vinegar on your skin scalp by parting your hair, then leave it for an hour and then wash off.
