Embarassed Hi. My hair is breaking off badly and some strands are coming out at the root. My scalp is dry, itchy, and a little tender. It is to the point I am considering cutting it down at its shortest length and starting from scratch. I was relaxing my hair, I am scared to do it now because the condition of my hair is pretty bad. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?? TruLibra

Hi,
There can be many reasons for your hair condition. first of all you should look into your diet. Start eating a balanced healthy diet. eat plenty of green leafy vegs, fruits, drink plenty of water. stay away from cola drinks, and processed foods. high sugary foods. all such stuff is unhealthy and creates an imbalance in our body. thats then reflected in your skin, hair and whole body. after improving your diet habits, now comes the point that what you should do to make your hair strong. I would like you to read this article Hair Loss Causes and Treatments you will get lots of information on how to keep your hair healthy naturally. now i would suggest that you stop using all electrical equipments like hair dryers, hair straightening irons etc. they make you hair more dry and weak. also while shampooing dont use it directly infact dilute it with some water and then use it. always use mild shampoos. here i am giving you a home remedy hope this will help you. regularly do this bfore washing your hair. take some curd as much as you need according to you hair thickness, add a tblspoon of olive oil in it and one egg, mix all this well and apply on your hair scalp leave it for an hour or two and the wash it off with luke warm water. you will see great results in a few days. but be patient with home remedies as they take time but do well. Also i would recommend that you should do oiling regulalry everytime before washing your hair, olive oil is best it makes your hair thicker and helps cure dandruff.
